Maybe this is my experience as a Connecticut prick speaking, but the likelihood that anybody in Boston is actually really famous and not just being laughed at behind their backs for being a dumbass with a pretty face is pretty damn low.

As a matter of fact, I seem to recall a conversation with a native Bostonian last night that confirmed this fact: they complained about how nobody respects Boston as a great town and “why the blacks won’t go back to Roxbury” in the same breath.

Carolla was bitching about how tough it is to be even a D-lister these days and how it would have been much better to be famous back in the day when the fucking PRESIDENT could get away with banging Marilyn Monroe, mostly just because technology hadn’t wrecked everything yet and also because some kind of national consensus that men were men and the president was the manliest, so good for him, you know?

It reminded me that I got a buddy who used to work at Jay-Z’s club. I guess the place is always crawling with stars because there’s a critical mass of them and they get left alone. It’s a good business model, too. Jeter will gladly pay $50 a drink if you’ll just let him bang the bejeezus out of the three blond floozies he’s with.

Seriously… that jerkwad tried to take your seat despite you executing the required bar protocols to reserve your spot (i.e. jacket on the chair & active beverage in front… coaster on top?)

Fortunately, I wasn’t there. I am sure I would have said something inappropriate and discourteous to said reprobate. There would have been an “incident”. Sometimes, I have a disproportionate response to bar etiquette transgressions.
